Bella, Owner and Founder
About Bella, Owner of Bella Aquatics Swim School

Bella is a former national synchronized swimmer and provincial coach. Starting in her backyard pool, she created a welcoming space where swimmers of all ages could build confidence and develop a love for the water. With years of competitive and coaching experience, Bella emphasizes quality instruction, small class sizes, and measurable results. Her passion for swimming and dedication to her students have made Bella Aquatics a trusted name in the community, helping swimmers of all levels achieve their goals and grow both in and out of the pool.
Angela, General Manager
Angela Taekema, the former President of the Markham Synchronized Swim Club, has worked professionally and personally in fostering a love for water and swimming. Angela brings a unique blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and care to Bella Aquatics. Her passion lies in teaching children to feel confident in the water while prioritizing safety. Angela believes that swimming is not just a skill but a lifelong gift that opens doors to fitness, fun, and personal growth.
