2013 Archive: What an AMAZING Swimming Lesson Season!

As the summer comes to a close so does our backyard swimming lesson season. We had a great last week, the sun was up and everyone had their smiles on! One of the coolest moments for me as an instructor was having a student progress from level one, ( Also, didn't like putting their head underwater, and wasn't comfortable in the water) to being able to do laps by herself of front crawl, back crawl, and breast stroke. Not only that but she was diving underwater in the deep end and could comfortably tread water. And yes she progressed that much in a week. ( Only 5 lessons ! )  Everyone has shown so much improvement in the water this summer! And I've gotten so much positive feedback from swimmers and parents! I love when my students tell me that I am their "best swim teacher" or when parents are impressed with how much their child has improved in such a short amount of time. It's awesome being a swim instructor!
